Agrichef Claudia Russo and Roberto Russo, through the Educational Farm at Agriturismo Parco Fiorito, offer a series of experiences for adults and children designed to introduce participants to life in harmony with nature and the bounty of the earth.

All experiences can be purchased as gift vouchers, perfect for giving during the holiday season! Vouchers are valid through December 31, 2021.

Farm-to-Table Cooking Class with the Agrichef

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
Introduce adults to the authentic, high-quality eating habits of farmers, seasonal and locally sourced products, and “scrap-based” cooking;
To establish an initial connection between adults and raw ingredients, including vegetables from our garden, minimally processed flours from local producers, and locally sourced meats;
To teach how to prepare a full meal in 3 hours by making fresh handmade pasta, a main course with a side dish, and a rustic dessert;
During the course, there will be a tasting of wines and extra virgin olive oil produced on the farm.

DESCRIPTION OF THE STAGES
Visit to the farm;
In the kitchen with the Agrichef: description of the recipes and the ingredients needed to prepare them;
Preparation of the dishes;
Final tasting of the dishes prepared during the course.

Farm-to-Table Pizza Workshop with the Agrichef

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
To introduce adults to the farmer’s authentic, high-quality eating habits, seasonal and locally sourced products, and “scrap-based” cooking;
To establish an initial connection between adults and raw ingredients, including vegetables from our garden, minimally processed flours from local producers, and meats from our farms;
To teach how to select the flour we will use to prepare the dough and the pizza with toppings of the guest’s choice, along with a farmhouse dessert;
During the course, there will be a tasting of wines and extra virgin olive oil produced on the farm.

DESCRIPTION OF THE STAGES
Visit to the farm;
In the kitchen with the Agrichef: description of the flours and their characteristics;
How to make the dough. Rising times. Baking in a wood-fired oven, as well as in a home oven;
Making the pizza and the farmhouse dessert;
Final tasting of the dishes prepared during the course.

Visit to the vineyard and winery

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
Tour of the vineyard and a walk through our vineyards;
Wine lesson covering winemaking techniques and vineyard maintenance. Learn the procedures for winemaking and the grape harvest.
Tasting of our wines.

DESCRIPTION OF THE STAGES
Visit to the vineyard and winery;
Food and wine pairing.
